Our private camp, nestled in this majestic desert landscape, offers the perfect retreat where tranquility reigns. Witness breathtaking sunsets, vast open spaces, and a canopy of stars that will leave you in awe, allowing you to connect with the natural world. Gather around the campfire under the starlit desert sky as night falls. Experience stunning aerial views during our fly-in, making every moment an adventure.

  • Minimum 3 passengers, maximum 5

  • Cost: R7,500.00 per person

  • Total package includes:

    • Flights from Stellenbosch or Cape Town International to Tankwa Tented Camp via Cessna 206 or Cessna 210

    • Accommodation in an exclusive camp in the Tankwa desert

    • Dinner, breakfast, and all drinks.

  • Excludes transfers to and from origin airfields.

The Wandering Dog supports The Bateleurs in their mission to advocate for the environment in South Africa and other parts of Africa.

 

Founded in 1998, The Bateleurs is a Non Profit Company (NPC), with over 200 volunteer pilots and aircraft. It provides its beneficiaries and the public with an aerial perspective of the environment and has coordinated several thousand flights, and diverse missions, throughout South Africa and Africa, in support of environmental issues.
